FER-PAL Infrastructure has released video of its rehabilitation of water main in downtown Detroit in Michigan, US using an Aqua-Pipe CIPP liner.
FER-PAL rehabilitated a 152 m stretch of water main on Shelby Street in the downtown area of Detroit that was experiencing failures and leaks in 2019.
Due to the densely populated urban area, FER-PAL and the City of Detroit chose to structurally reline the pipe with an Aqua-Pipe cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner, giving the pipe another 85 years of use.
Aqua-Pipe is a structural liner approved to meet drinking water requirements.
FER-PAL is an expert in trenchless technology specialising in water main rehabilitation solutions with more than 30 years’ experience.
