Barbco has continued to deliver healthy sales results in 2020 against the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Although certain industries around North America have faced delays or shutdowns, Barbco said it has continued to see strong sales of its augers and parts business, having met budget goals and achieving a successful quarter.
Barbco said the introduction of its FlexBor system last year, as well as the strength of its existing TriBor technology, for the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) sector did much to aid the company’s sales success.
“With more stringent regulations in the use of chemicals and liquids in HDD, the marketplace is quickly recognizing our patented technology as the only way to safely do HDD,” said Barbco CEO and Co-Owner Tony Barbera.
Barbco said sales had been strongest in the US’ southern states where good weather has allowed contractors to work around the clock on underground infrastructure projects.
The HDD manufacturer is based in East Canton, Ohio.
