Denis Pellerin has been appointed CCI Incorporated Managing Director to develop resources outside the North American market.
Mr Pellerin is a civil engineer with 35 years’ experience in the trenchless crossings industry.
Based in Paris, France, his new role will be to develop CCI’s engineering, procurement and construction capabilities outside of North America.
Mr Pellerin’s lengthy career saw him join a start-up company as a field engineer in 1985 which grew to become one of the world’s foremost horizontal directional drilling (HDD) contractors: HDI.
During the pioneering years of HDI, Mr Pellerin introduced new HDD techniques such as buoyancy control systems for large diameter pipelines, entry casings for pilot holes and gravel shield reamers.
Mr Pellerin also has experience implementing Direct Pipe®, microtunnelling, pipe ramming and auger drilling technologies and how to combine certain techniques for optimal efficiency.
In his HDI career, Mr Pellerin has been across the world on more than 2200 trenchless crossing projects.
