Primoris Services Corporation has secured a pipeline contract valued at more than US$29 million for a project in Oklahoma, US.
Primoris subsidiary Vadnais Trenchless was awarded the contract by the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust for a microtunnelling project that will upgrade a water pipeline in the central part of the state.
The project involves the construction of two deep access shafts, approximately 9.14 m in diameter and 42.67 m deep, and four large diameter microtunnels, totalling more than 1.67 km and crossing beneath the Canadian River.
Work is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2019 with a completion date in the first quarter of 2021.
