Murphy Pipeline Contractors has released a video showing the power of the pipe bursting method.
The video – recorded during an open day in Michigan, US, attended by municipalities and engineers – shows an 8 inch (203 mm) cast iron water main being replaced with new 8 inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe using the static pipe bursting method.
According to Murphy Pipelines, the video was published to show the power of the trenchless equipment the company uses.
Headquartered in Florida, US, the company is focused on bringing European trenchless technologies to the US.
