TRACTO-TECHNIK Group’s management meets in Germany
Management representatives from TRACTO-TECHNIK Group’s global network of sister companies have converged on its headquarters in Lennestadt, Germany for the third ‘Group MD Meeting’.
The Managing Directors of TRACTO-TECHNIK’s sister companies in the UK, France, Morocco, Australia and the US met with their German counterparts to exchange in-depth information on the status and prospects for the strategic alignment and further development of the group.
The second meeting of this kind to be hosted in 2017, it focused on the digitalisation of company processes, products and services, as well as the steps in sales, marketing and after-sales for the enhanced development of TRACTO-TECHNIK’s Trenchless Technology products on the international market.
The event also served as an opportunity to officially announce a change in management of TRACTO-TECHNIK’s Australian sister company TT Asia Pacific, following the retirement of long-standing Managing Director Tom Hughes.
TRACTO-TECHNIK acknowledged the accomplishments of Mr Hughes during his almost twenty years at TT Asia Pacific and thanked him for his relentless dedication and efforts in the development of the markets “Down Under”.
Mr Hughes will be replaced by Jeffrey Rose, a mechanical engineer with many years of experience in the international construction equipment industry, who has previously held various managerial positions in sales and product management.
“We are very happy to have found a suitable successor to Tom on a personal and professional level in Jeffrey Rose,” said TRACTO-TECHNIK Managing Director of Sales and Marketing Uwe Prinz.
“The markets there still have lots of potential for our trenchless technologies that we will specifically exploit under Jeffrey’s management.”
It was also revealed that the Australian subsidiary will change its name from TT Asia Pacific Pty Ltd to TRACTO-TECHNIK Australia Pty Ltd, designed to illustrate its affiliation with the group and for the benefit of international branding.
At the conclusion of the meeting, TRACTO-TECHNIK Owner and Managing Director Wolfgang Schmidt said, “Thanks to the regular exchange of information we are better able to control the sustainable growth of the company and identify where we have to make any readjustments.”
“It is extremely gratifying to see how together we achieve the common objectives to secure the company’s long-term success step by step.”
The next meeting of the group’s global management will take place in May 2018 at TRACTO-TECHNIK UK’s headquarters in Bedford, UK.
