The ISTT has announced that its 36th Annual International No-Dig Conference and Exhibition will take place in Cape Town, South Africa next year.

Hosted by the Southern African Society for Trenchless Technology (SASTT), it will be held on 8-9 October at the Cape Town Convention Centre.

The event will be an opportunity for those specialising in underground operations from around the world – such as engineers, planners, consultants, contractors and operators – to exchange ideas and participate in technical sessions, as well as to attend product, services and technology exhibits.

It will feature a number of product and machinery displays, including horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment, pipe rammers, pipe bursters, pipe inspection, CCTV surveying, pipes and lining materials, cleaning equipment, consulting services and more.

International suppliers will also have the opportunity to market products to visitors from South Africa and the surrounding regions.

“We are thrilled to be announcing this highly-respected event to be hosted in Cape Town, an event which continues to be the only one of its kind on the African continent to focus on Trenchless Technology,” said Westrade Group Managing Director Paul Harwood.

“South Africa has a huge program of new infrastructure installations planned in addition to the current and extensive renovation to its underground services and as such, was a logical choice of host.

“We are particularly excited that, for the first time, we will be offering day tours, overnight tours and private packages to Cape Town and its stunning environs as part of the program.

“This provides an additional and unique opportunity for sponsors, exhibitors and delegates to network in a more informal environment.”

Trenchless International, the official publication of the ISTT, will be the only place to find the latest news and information, before and after the International No-Dig South Africa.
