Reline Group expands to North America

The RELINE UV Group, a leading manufacturer of UV light-curing glass-fibre reinforced hose liners and UV equipment, is currently seeking partners for an expansion into North America.

Since 2009, the RELINE UV Group has developed into a leading provider of UV light-curing glass-fibre reinforced hose liners, which have been used to rehabilitate sewers in 50 countries. At the same time, the company has also focused on developing and producing innovative UV equipment for high speed curing glass-fibre reinforced hose liners.

After expanding from its base of Europe in recent years to supply international markets in Asia, the Middle East and South America, the company has announced a new push into the US. It is seeking project partners and rehabilitation companies interested in working with RELINE UV to work together to and use its products and trenchless methods to rehabilitate sewers in North America.

Alphaliner

The expansion means RELINE UV’s Alphaliner range of glass-fibre reinforced hose liners is now available in the US, under the product names UV CIPP Alfa300, UV CIPP Alfa500 and UV CIPP Alfa1800. Manufactured using a patented process to create pre-coated glass-fibre strips in continuous production, resulting in a seamless hose with individual lengths up to approximately 350 m, the liner can be used to rehabilitate circular, elliptical, and special profile shapes.

Available in 6-64 and 72 inches in diameter, or DN150 to DN 1600/1800, the liner types differ in the mechanical properties to ECR fibre-glass liners, and are offered with high grade UP Polyester resin. This broad variety of technical options allows RELINE to provide technical and economical solutions for every rehabilitation project.

UV curing systems

RELINE UV also develops and produces the UV technologies and equipment needed for rehabilitation, to make the system of hose liners easier to install. Its products range from UV curing systems with different power levels, to fully equipping rehabilitation and service vehicles.

Its newest UV curing system, REE4000, is equipped with a light output of 6 x 4,000 watts, resulting in a total output of 24,000 watts, making it the world’s most powerful UV curing system. Offering unique and innovative features for semi-automatic operation, it allows for fast and reliable curing for sewers of all dimensions.

The system’s technology has been developed from practical experience, for practical applications, with all its components – from the glass-fibre reinforced Alphaliner to the curing technology – precisely tailored to work in unison, forming the foundation for successful rehabilitation project. It offers curing times of up to 122 m per hour for 32 inches or 61 m per hour for 64 inches, which RELINE UV says cannot be matched anywhere else in the world.

RELINE UV says that with its system and its comprehensive training and service, even companies that have never before worked in trenchless rehabilitation before can quickly and efficiently tap into the growing market. It is also interested in collaborating with strategic partners for RELINE UV North America.
