UKSTT hosts HDD masterclass
The UKSTT will be hosting a one-day horizontal directional drilling (HDD) masterclass on Thursday 4 May 2017 at the National Motorcycle Museum in the West Midlands.
The event is being supported by the British Drilling Association (BDA) and the Future Water Association (FWA).
The masterclass program will be presented by a number of local and international experts including: Kim Staheli, Scott Stone, Jim Albarella, Frank Ooms, Kevin Burt, and David Furlong.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- HDD special projects
- HDD guidance systems
- adapting existing HDD technology for gravity pipe installations
- applications and requirements for rock drilling
- use of bentonite and polymers in HDD
- and compact environmental drilling.
