Guernsey sewers get CIPP treatment

Guernsey Water, in the Channel Islands, will be using cured-in-place pipe processes to carry out a series of sewer lining projects throughout August 2013, as part of its ongoing sewer renovation program.

Working with contractors Environmental Techniques, sewers which have been identified through CCTV surveying as being in need of repair will be either lined or patched using cured-in-place pipe techniques.

Guernsey Water Director of Water Services Andrew Redhead said “The No-Dig technique significantly reduces the time, cost and customer inconvenience compared to normal sewer replacement.”
