Asset Management

Asset management involves effectively maintaining, upgrading and operating assets for the efficient and effective delivery of community benefits.

Asset management can be divided into four main stages: • Identifying the need for assets; • Provision, or installation of assets, which includes their ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation; • Operation of assets; and • Disposal of assets at the end of their life cycle.

Trenchless technologies have a significant role to play in the realm of asset management, particularly at the second stage of installing, maintaining and rehabilitating underground assets.
