Geospatial will provide utility mapping services to accurately determine the location of the pipelines, and will then manage this data using its GeoUnderground web-based GIS Portal.

Geospatial CEO Mark A Smith said “This opportunity to work with ‘Ole Miss’ is hopefully the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial relationship. We believe that this is a perfect example of Geospatial continuing to mature from a ‘service provider’ to a ‘solutions provider’.”

Geospatial utilises proprietary technologies to accurately determine the position of pipelines, conduits and other underground infrastructure, and uses this data to create three-dimensional digital maps and models.

Work on the contract is scheduled to begin immediately.
