The 2011 Underground Construction Technology show, held 24–27 January at the George R. Brown Convention Centre in Houston, Texas, was a great success, providing many opportunities for networking with industry professionals.
There are only so many opportunities each year for everyone in the industry to get together in one building. The event provided a wealth of networking opportunities. Exhibitors covering all aspects of the underground construction industry came from all over the world to attend this annual event.
Attendees were quite positive about the event saying one of the best things was being able to meet the people face-to-face who you normally just to get talk to over the phone.
Each day of the conference had educational programs in the morning with the exhibition hall opening afterward. An eventful social reception was held on Wednesday evening at the Hilton.
Sales Representative David Entringer attended the show on behalf of Trenchless International magazine and said it was great to see so many supporters of the magazine exhibiting at the show.
