Herrenknecht AG, a German-based firm specialising in mechanised tunnelling, exhibited their range of equipment for the trenchless installation of pipelines.

In addition to HDD technology, Herrenknecht displayed the Pipe Thruster, which provides additional push and pull forces for particularly long drills and large pipe diameters. Used in combination with microtunnelling technology, the Pipe Thruster allows for the simultaneous construction of the required drill hole and the trenchless installation of a prefabricated pipeline.
