The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank for the cost of the water distribution project.

Eligible bidders who have experience in water supply pipeline design, Trenchless Technology and installation, are invited for the water distribution project with Contract No. ICB-02.4. The completion period is 972 days.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure.

A pre-bid meeting was held on 6–7 October 2010.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of BDT 40,000,000 or an equivalent amount in US dollars, or an equivalent amount in other freely convertible currency.
