The China Hong Kong Society for Trenchless Technology (CHKSTT) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will be hosting the Trenchless Technologies in Asia-Pacific Conference and Workshop, to be held in Hong Kong in November. The conference is officially endorsed by the ISTT.

The theme of the conference and workshop will be Achieving environmental sustainability through trenchless techniques.

Hong Kong has one of the largest water mains rehabilitation programs in the world. Much of the work is done in a busy urban environment. Installing and rehabilitating pipes and cables beneath the streets by trenchless requires novel techniques and much planning and liaison with the local authorities.

The conference will provide an international forum for discussion on the latest techniques and developments in Trenchless Technology. Delegates to this conference will have an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in trenchless techniques for the installation and rehabilitation of utility services from international experts in the field.
