United States telecommunications company Qwest Corporation has awarded a five-year contract to Geospatial Holdings subsidiary Utility Services and Consulting Corporation (USCC) to provide trenchless utility locating technology in New Mexico.
The $US15 million contract will see USCC undertake utility location using technologies such as the Smart Probe Pipeline Mapping technologies and the GeoUnderground web-based GIS portal.
The contract is expected to commence on 20 November 2009.
