The five-storey Homestead Hotel in Ocean City dates from the 1920s, and is a local beachfront landmark.

Nu Flow was contracted to retrofit twelve sanitary drain stacks, composed of 4 inch cast iron pipe, located within the ageing plaster walls of the hotel. Corrosion in these stacks was causing failure and leaks in the restaurant and first floor, and they required urgent rehabilitation.

The contractors successfully completed the project within two weeks, repairing the pipes by installing a seamless structural liner. This extended the lifespan of the pipes, and prevented the need for costly and disruptive replacements.
