WDS Limited’s Energy and Infrastructure division has been awarded a horizontal directional drilling contract by the APA Group for the Roma to Brisbane Metro Looping Project, Australia.
The project involves the installation of approximately 5.8 km of DN400 steel pipeline through horizontal directional drilling and trenching.
The project construction period will run for 21 weeks, scheduled to commence in 2012 with practical completion expected in the second quarter of 2012.
The Roma to Brisbane Pipeline is 100 per cent owned and operated by APA Group and transports natural gas from the gas hub neat Roma to the markets of Brisbane and the regional centres along the pipeline route.
