Geospatial Holdings’ wholly-owned subsidiary Geospatial Mapping Systems (Geospatial) has entered into a technology license agreement with George F. Young to utilise Geospatial Smart Probe Pipeline Mapping Technologies for the practice of mapping pipelines and rendering 3-D as-built drawings, throughout the southeast region of the United States.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, George F. Young will have non-exclusive use of Geospatial's Smart Probe and GeoUnderground technologies throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and the Caribbean Basin.
Meanwhile, Geotechnology Inc. has purchased substantially all of the assets of Hall, Blake and Associates, a geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and drilling firm based in Memphis.
With this growth, Geotechnology has an opportunity to expand services in the Memphis area through three service lines both companies already share, as well as through the environmental, geophysical and non-destructive testing capabilities that Geotechnology can add.
