The Oregon-based Brotherton Pipeline, founded in 1984, has been active in the installation of gas transmission lines, distribution lines, plastic services, and other underground utilities, with experience in directional drilling, jack and bore, and auger casing bores.

Meanwhile, Direct Horizontal, established in 2000, has worked in annular pressure monitoring and modelling, as well as oilfield downhole mud motors for hard formation drilling.

“This newly found partnership provides the large diameter bore experience and financial backing that I have desired for many years to take the next step in the directional drilling market,” said Brotherton Pipeline founder Jim Brotherton.

Brotherton-Direct is currently undertaking its first project, which involves drilling a 1.6 km intersect in Oregon.
