The company applied its expoxy lining solution to pipes with diameters ranging from 0.5 inches to 2.5 inches, including recirculation lines at the Umpqua Community College with minimal disturbance to students whilst classes were in session.

As well as lining the system through multiple pipe diameters and numerous branches, Nu Flow also lined up to 250 feet (76 metres) of 2 inch diameter pipe and over 130 feet (39.6 metres) of 1 inch diameter pipe in the library.

Pipe corrosion and rust buildup had been causing ongoing problems including brown water, pinhole leaks and limited flow.

Nu Flow said it was a challenging project due to the presence of asbestos in the pipe wraps and fittings insulation. The company used existing connections to renovate the system and avoid disturbing the asbestos.
