Residential neighbourhood wastewater pipes in the City of Crest Hill, Illinois, US, are about receive a $US5.6 million upgrade after Insituform has been awarded a contract to install approximately 135,000 ft of cured-in-place pipe.
The installation will be of small to medium diameter cured-in-place pipe, with Insituform's proprietary air inversion steam cure installation method expected to be used throughout the project.
Insituform Vice President and General Manager Ken Foster said “The rehabilitation of the wastewater pipelines in Crest Hill will provide its citizens with a solution that restores structural integrity. We expect the citizens of Crest Hill will experience minimal disruption throughout this project."
