The Public Works Department of Bellingham has released a statement saying that works are taking place under Verona Street, Orleans Street and Nevada Street.
The department stated that one lane of Verona Street from Alabama to east Maryland streets may be closed during the day while Tiger Construction, under contract with the City of Bellingham, rehabilitates sewer lines using trenchless methods.
Relining work will also be carried out by Tiger Construction between Orleans and Nevada streets from Carolina to east to Maryland.
