Advertisements for invitation of applications will be published in local newspapers and the website of the Civil Service Bureau in late March 2011.
Applicants should:
(a) Possess Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent
(b) Have a Pass result in the aptitude test in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE); and
(c) Have obtained Level 1 results in Use of Chinese and Use of English in the CRE, or equivalent.
In order to meet the requirement in (a) above, applicants holding non-local professional qualifications should submit all necessary supporting documents to prove the equivalency of such qualifications.
Applications will close in mid-April 2011.
